Guest facilities at High Beeches in Bath

High Beeches is a wonderful and extremely peaceful large Edwardian family home offering three superb double letting bedrooms with marvellous views over Horsecombe Vale in the Midford Valley and across the hilltops towards Midford Castle and beyond.

Situated in one of Baths best residential areas where the countryside meets the City, the house is in a superb location, easily reached from the M3 M4 and M5 motorways and also from the A36 and A303 routes south. It is also on the route of the frequent number 13 bus service to the city centre. There is private parking at the rear of the property, well away from the road. The rear garden backs onto an area designated as being of Outstanding Natural Beauty and enjoys sightings of all sorts of wildlife and some fine walks.

The house was built in 1910 of Bath stone in a prime hilltop location overlooking beautiful countryside, with north-easterly views along the valley. It is a few minutes walk from the famous Wansdyke and the ancient village of Southstoke with its unique 15th century Packhorse Inn which offers some excellent draught ales and cider along with delicious food. Some of the magnificent views can be seen on our slide show on the right of this page. A short drive away are many other excellent country pubs. Car parking is available well away from the road, where guests are welcome to leave their car while visiting Bath - avoiding costly car park charges in town. All rooms have Wi-fi access.

There are three extremely well equipped non-smoking double rooms available, all with ensuite shower rooms. Two bedrooms have double king size beds and the third has a super king sized double bed (or twin beds if required) with a DOUBLE POWER SHOWER.

All bedrooms are tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable with coffee and tea making facilities, T.V and hairdryer.
